Company History

Our parent company is Titan Cement Company S.A., a century-old Athens-based company with a long-standing reputation for integrity, high standards, values and a commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Titan America currently operates two cement plants in Virginia and Florida. Roanoke Cement Company LLC, located near Roanoke, Virginia, is the only active cement plant in Virginia. Following its modernization in the mid 1990s, the plant received the Governor's Environmental Award and hosted the 1999 IEEE Conference. The Roanoke plant's annual production is more than 1.3 million tons.

Titan Florida Cement is produced at the Pennsuco plant located North of Miami. In 2004, Pennsuco nearly doubled its production capability from one million to 1.8 million tons annually with the completion of its modernization project. Titan's Pennsuco plant is the newest, largest and most modern cement plant in Florida.
